Shortly before Sir LSG first full length album 'Moving Circles' will drop, he's turning up the heat with the third single taken from it. 'Let It Be' features one of Chicago's most praised singers Carla Prather and is a truly uplifting affair. With 'Let It Be' Sir LSG follows up his previous single releases 'Sandcastle' and 'Circles' which both caused stir in the cub-scene and beyond, as they were charting in the motherland and internationally on various radio stations and download-charts. Carla Prather is an avid singer and songwriter and has what very few vocalists offer, as she effortlessly combines amazing vocal with great song-writing skills. She created a buzz throughout the Chicago music circuit, as vocalist and worked with some of the city's best producers including club legends Maurice Joshua, Byron Stringily (Ten City) or Terry Hunter. She collaborated as well with the likes of Common, Erykah Badu and Roy Ayers in bands....

We welcome our good friend DJ Uchikawa aka Loftsoul from Japan for his release on the label. We've had Uchikawa come and play at our parties in London for many years so it was high time he did a release for us and what a stunning track he's turned out with the UKs Fae Simon on vocals. Uchi runs his own clubs in his native Japan and also runs the Loftsoul Recordings label working alongside numerous high grade artists and singers. Whilst looking through the endless Rurals DAT boxes Andy Compton recently found a batch of totally forgotten songs that never got released!  These Jams are from The Rurals farm/countryside era, 1995-2001 and many songs feature silky smooth the voice of Marie Tweek.  You can also hear the players Pete Morris, Charlie Hearnshaw, Gurner, Alex Pamplin, Matt Cundy, and of course Andy Compton on this album. The music was mainly made on a 8 track cassette machine, so the quality is very fuzzy, warm and lovely!  There was no editing functions on the analogue 8 track!, so expect the odd human mistake here and there.  Andy’s decided to make this the follow on album from ‘Farmyard Flavours’, which was released in 2000. There’s plenty more unreleased music from the archives coming soon as well!
