Karizma - The Power EP

          The Power” originally came out in 1999 and was one of Karizma biggest hits. Now the inimitable DJ Spinna has touched it for the year 2012, giving us two very different, but equally enthralling versions for future dance-floors. These versions caused mayhem at Miami Music Conference this year, and no doubt did the same at Southport Weekender. To add to the package, Karizma’s longtime production partner from the Basement Boys DJ Spen has given “Good Morning” the full soulful house treatment it’s been waiting for. Finally, Ralf Gum takes the melancholy “Sad Isn’t It” and twists it into a journey to fulfillment. Lose yourself on the dancefloor  

Kapote - Temptation

                                Kapote is back with a new EP. The Berlin based head of Toy Tonics, passionate vinyl digger and DJ comes back with 3 new tracks. As always the Kapoteâs music is hard to file under one genre. "I hate clichees in dance music" he says. "My DJ sets are never committed to just one style and so i want my EPs to be more open than most DJ records are." In fact - if you ever heard Kapote playing records you will recognize his amazing ability to create a flow out of very different records. He might start with downtempo Hip Hop, swap into mid tempo french house and fly over to broken beats and techno in just one hour. The main connections: he loves Funk. And he has a groove.
