REEL PEOPLE MUSIC are excited to present our new compilation series HIDE&SEEK.  HIDE&SEEK's aim is to deliver a platform for our favorite artists and producers to showcase some of the incredible emerging talent and unsung heroes in the underground movement.   As our first compilers we are delighted to welcome PHONTE COLEMAN and NICOLAY ROOK aka THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE.  REEL PEOPLE MUSIC's label boss OLI LAZARUS has been a massive fan of THE FOREIGN EXCHANGE for many years so it was a complete honor for him that the guys agreed to take up the mantle of compiling the first HIDE&SEEK.   Having taken up the challenge the guys have delivered a 5 star album which flows perfectly from head to toe and delivers some of the finest head nodding, goose bumping, soul-filled music you will have heard for some time.  As a precursor to the full album release we are delighted to present an album sampler featuring two stunning tracks.  STEVIE WONDER...

KORT & Elementary return to the label with echoes of those heady sun-drenched Balearic days of early house. Summer percussion, a classic bassline, evocative vocal and shimmering string breakdowns combine with disco-funk guitar licks, bells and subtle pianos to deliver a true ‘hands in the air’ sunshine classic. Whether poolside, sundown, or dawn, this is an absolute essential.

The second instalment from the ensemble imprint offers four tracks courtesy of Belgian house ambassadors, Gratts and San Soda, under their cheeky De Ambassade guise. On A1, Belgian ambassadors in Berlin Xan Xoda and Gratts treat us to some delicious 'Gebakken Lucht', a Belgian expression that you'd have to look up yourself. Next up is Raw Sketches aka. Eklektiker, one of Belgium's finest DJs and a resident of the ensemble nights. His analogue workout 'Intiem' pushes all the right buttons and charmed us straight away when we first heard it. Our favourite Australian poster boy of house music Ben Sun then gives a fresh perspective on 'Gebakken Lucht'.  And finally the great Sisterhood lads from London round off the EP with their rework of 'Intiem', turning it into a trip into space, where bass is the place!!  

Rhemi have seen a meteoric rise over the last couple of years thanks to rock solid production, finely tuned musicality and a series of dynamite vocal collaborations. Personally choosing a handful of tracks to be issued on vinyl for the very first time, the duo are thrilled to share their best work on the format that started it all. Polish House music producer & songwriter Aphreme teams up with Jacob "Jake" Harrell, former member of the US R&B vocal quintet Brutha. LA native Jacob along with the Harrell brothers were signed to Island Def Jam Music Group in the late 2000's. Aphreme's lyrics captures the pure essence of optimism, togethernes and love between two connected hearts, written with conviction as it's based on a true personal relationship.
